Clothing Drives

Purpose

Ensure that The Rising never runs out of critical clothing

Duties

Organize clothing and cash collection in your church
Plan and communicate needs
Collect donations
Sort, bag and label donations by size & type
Deliver clothing to the Rising or a central storage location

Skills

Organization and inventory management
Volunteer recruitment

Requirements

Knowledge of inner workings of your church to maximize impact
Quality control - ripped, stained or inappropriate clothing must be seperated

Comments

We are planning 4 drives per year. Specific needs will be published prior to each drive based on input from The Rising. Purchasing suggestions will be provided for items that must be new (i.e. under garments)
