1: Community Ambassador Program
Purpose
Be a bridge builder in the Old Towne retail areas

Duties
Walk Olde Town Arvada in two hour shifts
Follow the guidance of the Lead Ambassador
Pick up trash, and pet droppings
Interact in a positive way with retail owners and unhoused people

Purpose
Help keep the surrounding town clean while building teamwork and responsibility.

Duties
Walk designated routes to pick up garbage.
Empty outdoor trash bins as assigned.
Report large debris or hazardous materials to staff.
Maintain safe handling and hygiene practices.
More Info....3: Day Shelter Hospitality Assistant
Purpose
Support day shelter operations and provide a welcoming environment for guests.
Snap Eligible
Yes
Duties
Assist guests with check-in and basic questions.
Distribute coffee, snacks, or meals.
Keep common areas tidy (wiping tables, sweeping, restocking supplies).
Help with laundry service if offered.

Purpose
Organize incoming donations so staff can distribute them efficiently.

Sort clothing, hygiene items, and household goods following posted procedures
Fold, label, and store items in designated areas
Check for worn or unusable items
Help set up donation tables or racks for clients

Purpose
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shelter environment.
Snap Eligible
Yes
Duties
Sweep walkways, clean outside seating areas, and pick up litter around the building.
Assist with basic cleaning tasks indoors (mopping, trash removal, wiping down surfaces).
Help staff set up rooms for groups, meetings, or activities.
Report needed repairs or safety issues.
