There's a ton of info on-line related to the unhoused in Arvada and Jefferson County. Here are a few
resources where you can learn and connect:
Heading Home: Jefferson County's Collaborative Response to Homelessness
Heading Home is Jefferson County’s collaborative initiative to prevent and end homelessness.
Formed in 2006, it brings together county and city leaders, service providers, and community
partners to create a coordinated, regional response that ensures being unhoused is rare, brief,
and one-time only.
The 15-Year Housing Strategic Plan is designed to address needs across the full spectrum of
housing—from being unhoused to market-rate homeownership—to help create vibrant
communities where housing is accessible to all.
City of Arvada: Homelessness Community Conversations
In response to rising concerns about homelessness, the City facilitated a series of Community Conversations in 2025, creating space for
residents to engage in thoughtful, inclusive dialogue about the challenges of homelessness and
potential policy responses.
