Jeffco will activate the system when overnight forecasts are below freezing with precipitation, or below 20 degrees with or without precipitation. The unhoused will collect vouchers and bagged meals at The Rising. Our job is to make sure plenty of meals are ready at The Rising when needed. After activation, we will have a system in place to determine which church(es) should replenish the supply. Churches can sign up for as many nights or meals as they feel they can deliver.
